Project Requirements

• Requirement: Develop a modern, secure, multi-user expense management platform using Next.js and Laravel API.
• Requirement: Implement authentication and role-based access control for Super Admins, Admins, and regular/sub-users.
• Requirement: Allow users to create, update, delete, categorize, and organize personal or team expenses with accounts, categories, payment information, and receipt attachments.

Project Overview

Spend Wise is a modern expense management and financial tracking application designed to help individuals, families, and small teams gain better control over their spending.

Built with a Next.js frontend and Laravel REST API backend, the application provides a centralized platform for recording expenses, organizing transactions, monitoring spending patterns, and generating meaningful financial insights.

The application goes beyond basic expense logging by combining a clean SaaS-style interface with interactive analytics, multilingual support, role-based access control, account and category management, and responsive design.

With support for both Bangla and English, Spend Wise is designed to provide an accessible financial management experience for users in both local and international environments.

The Challenge
